Participants will learn about the Peer Online Course Review (POCR) process at De Anza where instructors leverage the Quality Online Course Rubric's evidence-based criteria and collaboration with peers to enhance student engagement, boost success rates, and address achievement gaps.
Through supportive peer-to-peer mentoring participants exchange insights and strategies with their colleagues and instructional designers. The POCR process is not related to any evaluation or tenure review. The focus is on content delivery, assessment methods, engagement, (RSI), Accessibility and DEIA. (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility).
