- These events are open to all F-1 visa students at De Anza College.
- Additional events may be added, so check this page regularly. Dates, times and locations may change; we will make every effort to keep these listings up-to-date.
- No more than 50 people may attend each workshop. If attendance exceeds 50, we will ask additional attendees to join the next available workshop instead.

On-Campus Vaccination Event For International Students
De Anza Student Health Services will host an on-campus Vaccination Event for international students.
The purposes of the event are:
- reviewing TB and MMR immunization records
- reviewing COVID-19 & Booster vaccination records
- remove health requirement holds
Event Location:
- Cafeteria - Fireside Room
Important:
- You must register for the Winter 2023 quarter and have paid your health fees in order to be seen for this event.
- You must submit a negative COVID-19 test to be seen.

Meet University of Arizona staff Virtually at Wildcat Days: US Transfer Students
The session will cover:
- The University of Arizona, institution and ranking
- UArizona programs of study
- How to apply for an undergraduate degree
- Q&A with UArizona Enrollment Counselor Hope Noriega
For undergraduate students who participate in Wildcat Days: US Transfer Students and apply within one week following the event, you are eligible to waive the $85.00 application fee. More details at the event!

Join Jennifer Wang, International Admissions Counselor from Texas Tech University

About “Safe Circle” workshop:
The goal of this workshop is to address our ISP students’ social and emotional needs by providing them a safe space to share their worries, challenges they might face as well as ask any questions they might have.
The purpose of this workshop is to address students’ concerns, connect them to possible resources and to provide the space to build community among ISP students.

F-1 Employment | Overview of the different types of on and off campus employment available to F-1 students, including the basics of CPT and OPT. Note: This is an informational workshop, not a job fair or placement service. |
Education Plan Workshop | Create or update your Ed Plan with guidance from an ISP counselor. Get a head start on class selection for next quarter and check your progress toward transfer. |
TAP/TAG | ISP counselors explain the UC TAP (Transfer Admission Planner) and TAG (Transfer Admission Guarantee). Offered in spring quarter only. |

The ISP office regularly hosts admissions representatives from a variety of CSU, UC, private and out-of-state universities. These representatives come to our office for one-on-one advising sessions with F-1 visa students attending De Anza.

International Transfer Fair
Every spring, the International Student Programs offices at De Anza and Foothill College host a transfer fair on each campus. Representatives from more than 50 universities, including most of the UC and CSU campuses, attend the fairs each year.
In 2023, we will have the fair on Wednesday, May 3rd from 10:00 to 13:00 (PST) at De Anza College, Main Quad. More details to come!Highlights of Previous Events

Cultural Events
From the Thanksgiving Feast to the Lunar New Year Celebration, ISP is committed to engaging students in the sharing of cultures. These events are free and open to all international students to enjoy and learn about the traditions of their diverse classmates.
Social Activities
The De Anza experience for international students includes much more than classes and studying. ISP hosts a range of activities for new and continuing students to get to know the campus and surrounding community, make friends, and just relax and have fun. Activities include tours of university campuses like UC Berkeley, trips to Apple Park and downtown San Jose, and pastimes like bowling and mini golf. On-campus activities include movie days, scavenger hunts, and the International Soccer Tournament. Students can check emails and the ISP Facebook page for upcoming events.
International Delegations
International Student Programs at De Anza College welcome delegations or visitors for short-term campus visits to promote collaborative relationships with strategic partners from around the world. We ensure that visitors are well-received and treated with culturally appropriate courtesies while on our campus.
